The Mill Stone Restaurant & Bar

We'd read some not so positive reviews on Trip Advisor so we're somewhat concerned about reserving. Let me say without reservation that our experience both with service and food was excellent. Not sure what those other reviewers were thinking! We arrived 20 minutes late and needed to get to the show at 8 and the rest of our party of was 30 minutes late. Our waitress coached us about choices on the menu and worked closely with the kitchen to ensure we would get to our show on time and enjoy dinner. She was pleasant and patient and we enjoyed the delicious food. The renovations to the venue and new management bring a welcomed new inspiration and class to the restaurant which was formerly Down the Street. Although good Down the Street needed some freshening up and I'd always felt that if you weren't a regular there or an actor the service received was not always as good and I felt out of place somewhat. Not the case now! The maitre-d was very pleasant, welcoming and friendly. We will be back!! Thank you!

My fiance and I had a highly anticipated dinner at this restaurant last night. The renovation was stunning and the service was amazing! We really enjoyed the bar menu, especially the wide variety of great beer selections (including some local options). The food was exceptional, showcasing Chef Powell's passion for delicious cuisine. We are looking forward to our next visit!

The food was spectacular the service was top notch. A great, wide selection of locally brewed beer.

I dined at this restaurant tonight and had a fantastic experience. The service was attentive and all the dishes we tried, including the charcuterie, cold smoked salmon, tortellini, pork two ways, and steaks, were delicious. We were so satisfied that we didn't have room for dessert, but the options on their short list all sounded tempting.
