What Suzanne Kautzer doesn't like about Stra Haejangkuk:
A casual Korean eatery offering lots of braised dishes, soups, hot pots Korean sausages, the food is delicious comforting. The pork bone soup with rice was tasty, warm, comforting and satisfying. The Korean blood sausage has vermicelli inside similar texture to a blood sausage is quite bland on its own but very tasty with the flavoured salt that accompanies it. Kimchi is very disappointing not proper fermented Kimchi... View all feedback. What Brycen Conn likes about Stra Haejangkuk:
Very good if you're after traditional Korean foods. Not sure how it would fare with non-Koreans though as a lot of the ingredients aren't typically pleasing to look at. But if you're after flavoursome soups and are open to trying new things definitely check it out. View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant offers a casual Korean dining experience with a variety of delicious braised dishes, soups, hot pots, and Korean sausages. The pork bone soup with rice is described as tasty, warm, comforting, and satisfying. The Korean blood sausage, while bland on its own, becomes very tasty when paired with flavoured salt. However, the kimchi was disappointing as it appeared to be cooked cabbage in sweet chili sauce, lacking the authentic fermented taste. Despite this, overall the restaurant offers an enjoyable casual meal with friendly service. Regular patrons noted changes in portion sizes and meat content, but found the flavorsome soups still worth trying. The restaurant is recommended for those seeking traditional Korean foods and are open to trying new dishes.
