"The atmosphere in the restaurant is very authentic, the menu appealing. the service we found as very pleasant, friendly, competent but also self-confident (my wish for backkartoffeln to the filled calamaris has been commented with ... this really does not fit together. . a real recommendation for people who don't want to experience it super chic, but real holiday feeling."

"Visit the Castle Hotel Das Lakeside for the first time. The review for the hotel can be found elsewhere. Here only the short information: clean, modern room. Nice breakfast not to complain. Sauna very pleasant hot, pool also very clean and with 9x9m an acceptable size. All right. But in the evening bus from Berlin you drive well 90 minutes for 60km...!!! Now to my visit to the restaurant: for the quick reader everything in good order. I don't share the Varta Guide with 3 diamonds. I'd forgive two diamonds. In detail: Before visiting the sauna, eat something. I'm sure there's a burger. It's called Lakeside Burger. There's a white bread. Then the greeting from the kitchen: a small duck breast on salad is just inside. Try it too. Now I'm waiting for the burger. That'll reach me after a short half hour. Nice homemade. A big portion of salad. And still potato chips. The bathroom is missing. I'm a little disappointed. Then the burger. Didn't know that this is so much and fits in the mouth. But very tasty. Don't make a mole. Fresh salad. Tastefully, there is not to mecker. Potato columns very abundant. The Dipp goes like that. A big part. For 11. € I am more than tired. I'm sorry, no photos. Maybe next time?"

"Wir hatten versucht zu einem Jubiläum (70.Geburtstag) einen Tisch für (nur) 12 Personen zu reservieren. Per Mail kam eine Woche lang keine Antwort, telefonisch nachgefragt, Reservierung konnte vorgenommen werden. Weitere Nachfrage per Mail (aufgrund Uhrzeit, die telefonische Erreichbarkeit ist ja aufgrund Öffnungszeiten auch begrenzt) bzgl. Aktualität Speisekarte (Online) und kurzer Reservierungsbestätigung kam folgende Mail: "Man könne nicht auf jede Mail und kleine Reservierung antworten, zukünftig für jegliche Rückfragen telefonische Kontaktaufnahme" Sorry, aber dann bieten Sie keine Onlinekommunikation an, wenn Sie sie nicht leisten können oder wollen. Und der Tonfall geht gar nicht, da entsteht eine gute Vorstellung, wie man mit den Gästen dieser "kleinen" Reservierung umgegangen wäre. Sorry, aber kein zweiter Versuch!"

"We ended up coming to Bechstein's on an early Friday night. We ordered some food which was nice and more than enough. In fact it was more than needed, my wife was served two Schnitzels instead of one. Something we had already experienced before was the rather slow service. Even though only a guests were present, it took a while until we had our drinks and food. Something we found extremely disturbing were the TV's running. No need for that!"

"I really like the café. It's nice to have breakfast. But it is not very cheap: 55, € for a breakfast to two with 3 Latte Macchiato and 1 fresh O juice is reasonable, but I would like a little more flexibility. Why do I have to eat a scrambled egg or 3 eggs and cannot reduce it to 1 or 2 eggs? How would it be if individual components were similar to a buffet) with unit prices on the map and there would be the option of compiling an individual breakfast. In the end, this is likely to be a bit more expensive than a comparable “final package”, which makes even more effort. Then maybe I could want a banana, pear, mandarine or apple... without having to take a whole big fruit salad. And: The service power told me they got a request for gluten-free rolls 1 2 times a week. Having a pack of 8 10 brötchem in the freezer is eternally durable) would certainly not be a problem. Every time I take those from home, as it was suggested, I find something cumbersome. I would like to come back and get positive feedback on my proposals."
