What AMK47 likes about Pamela's Diner:
This place was great! We were there to visit Pitt and most of the food in the area is quick service food that students like. This was one of the only restaurant choices for breakfast. Nothing fancy -typical diner food. Food was really good and service was super friendly. I liked how the servers all worked together so someone was always checking on you. What I doesn't like about Pamela's Diner:
I will give Pamela's diner 2 stars because the service was good. The food (hotcakes, scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon) on the other side was not good at all. It was so oily and buttery you didn't get any taste other than fat. One of us couldn't even take a second bite. Two stars is too generous just because the staff was so nice. View all feedback.
My husband and I love the small, family oriented diners. We stopped here on the 4th of July and everything was exceptional!
Try the Morning After with the specialty hotcakes. They're thin, almost like a crepe. Yum! I also like my corned beef hash yesterday.
