What Charlotte David doesn't like about Bistro d'Or Johann Lafers:
The food was both good. Except for the pink fried duck. It was gummy. Had taken longer in the convector .My remark to the staff was not noticed either. I also cook and have already performed my cooking skills on TV WDR. We were at the local Luhmühle in Bad Sobernheim and copper can they all did not do much in the food. Just as good. read more.

Were there for Christmas dinner. Very delicious menu. Special requests are taken into account. Beautiful ambience and excellent service.

In the best good restaurant tradition, our experience was an exceptional one. Not only were we invited to dine, but we were encouraged to relax and enjoy our meal at Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica. When did this last happened to you?The restaurant is located up a side street just off the main street, which runs along the Rhine River. We were actually looking for a German restaurant when we found this one. We were on a Rhine River Cruise and were docked not far away. Because a very heavy rain had flooded much of Rudesheim, many stores and restaurants had simply closed.Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica was a surprise find while we were wandering around Rudesheim looking for the German restaurant. After looking at the restaurant menu, as we always do, my wife and I decided we had found our dining spot for the evening. And . . . what a special find it was. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very warm warm and helpful. In my opinion, you do yourself a great service by finding and enjoying and meal at Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica if you are in Rudesheim.
