"This is nothing exciting, just a tiny place on the way to the col agnel. it is super juicy and it feels really like the time stopped in the 1940s, in the minute they go. we love to make a coffee top there and mostly chat with the owner who is a charming lady. we tried their famous embed e toma risotto. now it’s not a carlo cracco risotto, but it’s much better than any lunch they’ll have up there and it brings them into the mood “the die for the French Alps”. so sweet little place!"

"We were touring the Alpine passes on our motorbikes and looked for accommodation on the Italian side of the Col Agnel. By lucky chance we chose La Peiro Groso on an internet search. We found it to be an excellent family-run hotel and restaurant with a warm welcome, good food and comfortable rooms in a charming village. The village is a pedestrian area, but the hotel is right beside the village car park. Strongly recommended."
