Have lived on Hatteras Island since Irene. Had my 60th b-day today and celebrated at Pop's. Kind, attentive, efficient caring staff and excellent food. All of us enjoyed our crab cakes, fried oysters, fish and appetizers. Fantastic French Fries and hushpuppies as well. What Kay Dom doesn't like about Pop's Raw Bar Restaurant:
Drove over 30 minutes to get oysters crab here. Arrived around 5:30 on Tuesday, they opened at 4. Our group sat out front got settled in. Our waitress came out started taking our orders, she had a pretty bad attitude from the get-go which didn’t make any sense to us. Pop's is the best seafood dive on Hatteras Island. Not a big place, so expect to wait if they're busy
