"We went for the bingo! I 'm from Southern Ontario, about an hour from Toronto. So, Porketta bingo is not something I was familiar with. My boyfriend grew up in Sudbury and insisted I check it out. 5 hour drive, I was hungry, we tried to order food just as the kitchen was closing so we said 'no worries, we 'll win some porketta! ' Well, these kind people sent us some fries to hold us over. So generous of them! The beers were cold, the porketta was delicious and I had SO MUCH FUN! You get the feeling in this place that everyone knows everyone else. The atmosphere is just so warm and inviting, like Cheers! If you 're looking for a great time on a Saturday, check this place out!! Or any day of the week, really!"

"We called for take-out close to closing on a Sunday night, and were happy with the dinners. Three different choices, all tasty. And on time. And very hot. This restaurant will become a family favorite.Try the spicy beef on noodles. The hot and sour soup is among the best we've had."

"There 's no denying the location is dated and the property layout is horrible, but it 's been that way as long as I can remember. The staff is friendly, relatively young now (I would assume most are students working for the franchise owner), they are polite, friendly and on-task. The restaurant looked clean and elderly patrons didn 't seem to mind eating there. I 've only had their coffee and donuts so far. Their coffee is fairly standard but doesn 't taste quite as good as competitors like McDonalds or Tim Hortons coffee (I 'm not a big fan of Tims). Their donuts are fairly middle-of-the-road as well but make sure you get them fresh or they can be quite dry. I don 't think they have the same standard of a fresh pot every 30 minutes or anything. Overall, I understand why Country Style has never really taken off here in Sudbury. Maybe a better location with a fresh coat of paint would help refresh the image we have in our heads for the neglected stepchild of Sudbury breakfast restaurants. I 've always been a fan of the retro brown/orange color palette."

"No one served me for 10 minutes. I was the only customer. No one acknowledged I was there. This pita pit needs better employees. Went to Subway instead. Not impressed."

"First time visiting the Rose Apple. I was quiet surprised they offered Pho on the menu. I order a large beef with a side order of fried wonton. I loved the presentation, as I expected they place the bean sprouts, herbs, and lime on a separate plate. The taste was exactly as I expected; hot and flavourful. The icing on the cake is too add a touch of hoisin sauce. The atmosphere and decor spot on. I would return and recommend this spot for your Pho fix."

"I had a piña colada and a cesar salad with chicken. The drink was a little watery and could definitely be tweaked so it stays blended better. The lettuce in the salad almost didn't seem cold enough. Maybe the meat wasn't fully cooled when put on, I'm really not sure. But the bacon and chicken were absolutely delicious. Overall, I did really enjoy my salad. My daughter also really enjoyed her food. The music was a little loud, but only because I was sitting near the speaker and have weird sensory issues sometimes. The waitress was very pleasant. I like that they have vegan options, and prices aren't completely outrageous or anything. I would take my family there again. Pic of my salad, after a few bites."
