"A great little restaurant with beer garden. Very nice operation. The food is really highly recommended, but mega large portions. So you can't make it empty. What I find very nice, they bring containers, and you take the rest. Shade only, no parking nearby"

"Die zum Teil hochpreisigen Geschäfte in der Calwer Passage hatten lange Zeit Probleme. Jetzt gibt es ein ganz neues Konzept: kleine alternative Unternehmen sind unter einem Dach versammelt. Das sind Cafés, Klamottenläden, Designerläden u.v.m.Hier befindet sich auch das Café Holzapfel. An der Theke bestellt man sich seinen Kaffee mit oder ohne Kuchen. Der Café Cortado für 2€ ist perfekt und man geniesst die echt chillige Atmosphäre."

"Real authentic Italian! We are half an Italian family and enjoyed a wonderful dinner! We are six and all have chosen different dishes and also divided. Great tartar di tonno, excellent grilled fillet, wonderful paccheri. The Amatriciana was very well done. And the really Sicilian Canelloni were fresh and a poem. To add, the wine card is really well sorted and of quality, and the relation of quality at price very favorable. Very recommended."

"Very good star restaurant. A menu with 5 or 6 courses is offered, which is understandable in the preparation and presentation of the menu in detail. There were 3 Amuse Bouche before and another 2 during the menu. Wine tasting was very good with sufficient explanation. The staff is unobtrusive and yet very attentive so that personal discussions are possible. The ambience still has air. The food was sensational."
