"Die zum Teil hochpreisigen Geschäfte in der Calwer Passage hatten lange Zeit Probleme. Jetzt gibt es ein ganz neues Konzept: kleine alternative Unternehmen sind unter einem Dach versammelt. Das sind Cafés, Klamottenläden, Designerläden u.v.m.Hier befindet sich auch das Café Holzapfel. An der Theke bestellt man sich seinen Kaffee mit oder ohne Kuchen. Der Café Cortado für 2€ ist perfekt und man geniesst die echt chillige Atmosphäre."

"Reserve a table to avoid disappointment, they may be busy occasionally but specifically at weekends. My sis is vegetarian and also liked her meal here, plenty of several vegetarian choices too. I came here with my sis and we both thought the food was excellent and the personnel were great. Really like this place, not too expensive. Waitress understood the menu inside and out, seriously fulfilled."

"Over the last few months we have been trying out some of the top rated restaurants in Stuttgart and so far this was the best. My husband went with the 6 courses (no cheese) and I went with the 5 (no consomme or cheese). Everything was excellent and the service was great. Two excellent spreads were provided with the very tasty potato bread followed by the veal with lentils again excellent. My favorite course was the Bretonic Halibut with the watercress sauce. Both the fish and sauce were very flavorful the photo does not do it justice. I was very surprised by the flavorful consume with tafelspitze (cream of wheat balls??in English). The breast of pigeon and sauce were also excellent and I particularly liked the potatoes with pumpkin oil. I was fairly full when the free range beef arrived the most tender meat I have ever eaten, with an excellent gravy. The dessert was a very refreshing crème brulee over cold marinated citrus fruits. If everything could have been served within 2 to 2.5 hours that would have been better than three. That would be my only recommendation."

"This family restaurant is in the outer skirts of Stuttgart, but still within minutes of the airport or downtown. Well worth a visit. True, fresh Italian food with daily specials presented by the charming and friendly owner. He has an amazing selection of wines,...so do let him make a recommendation. We had a delicious meal and beautiful wine, all for a very reasonable price. Expect the ambiance of an Italian local restaurant, the food will bring the excitement."

"In Korea being vegan or even vegetarian isn't that established yet but luckily (and amazingly) the owner and cook of Do Shi Rak gets it nonetheless. She cooks addictive and authentic vegan versions of Korean street food and other well known Korean classics. And for the large portions, the prices are fair. If I was a millionaire I'd spend all my money here."
