Es un restaurante que te transporta a otra época. La comida es excelente e ideal para conversar porque la música no es muy alta. Definitivamente es un lugar tranquilo para comer bien y disfrutar de la compañía. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Restaurante El Buque:
Food was excellent. Atmosphere is I assume to make you feel you are in a boat, ok. We did not stay long because a lack of hospitality by waiter staff. They did their work, but not one single smile...very uncomfortable. View all feedback.
Conveniently located, only north of calle 100 in a area where there are not many great places to eat. the whole nautical thema, as it is the restaurant that is worn with the waiters and busses, all dressed nautically and the decoration to fit. place, which are decorated so above, usually provide me with the quality of the food, but el buque. we ordered the garnels and avocado appetizer and mushrooms to share in garlic, along with the 3 taste lobster escape. the shrimp/avocado was fresh and tasteful, and the mushrooms were excellent (may have used a hauch more garlic). the lobster was the true surprise. three small cocks chopped with the meat and prepared in different ways; a simple garlic and lemon, thermidor and Teriyaki style. the lobster was perfectly cooked (which is not easy). the only critical note would not waste a perfectly good lobster dick by crushing it with teriyaki. the whole idea to have lobster is to enjoy the taste of the flesh. so the garlic dick was clearly the best. the whole lunch was pleasant (although it was used forever to get the bill after lunch). great place for a cozy lunch. remember for Colombia, it's not cheap. our 2 appetizers and split lobster court with a drink and a coffee costs about $60. bonus for live music on lunch with a piano player.
Lobster is very good, as well as, service, also to hear the piano player is a delicious pleasure for their ears!
Had not been in El Buque for almost 10 years...what a mistake...still a unique place in terms of atmosphere, decoration, and service...a large choice of sea food...enjoy the crabs and lobster...and good service too!
We tried El Buque for both lunch and dinner and both times I was impressed with the staff and seafood selection. The group all complemented the food; everything was excellent. We were also able to see a soccer match.
Except for pricing, which was suddenly raised last year without explanation, it's been one of Bogota's best for years. Adjacent Vaquero may cater to meat lovers upon request. Marvelous.
