"Perfect small tea room! a table for 7 booked, including small child on bank holiday Monday and the staff could not have been more helpful. scones and cakes are amazing and beautiful sandwiches for small. my daughter loved her huge milkshake and we enjoyed a delicious cup of loose leaf tea. will be returning"

"Had a very nice breakfast here with colleagues on the way to a funeral. The food was beautifully done and the waitress was very helpful (not sure if her name but I think she had a South African accent). Lovely surroundings and cute tea cosy on the teapots!"

"This was the first visit for a special occasion. the staff are very friendly and the service is fantastic when a little rushed. the quality of the food was error-free and all made for a very pleasant evening. we would certainly eat more often there if it were not the prices that I think most of us are too high. even with the £20 eating rabatt it was still £80 for two of us with 2 curses, 1 beer and 1 bottle of the cheapest weinouch!"

"Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food was very tasty but you did have to wait a long time between courses so maybe they need more staff in the kitchen. Overall tasty food and very reasonable priced but spoilt it buy the very long wait between starter and main course"

"Melt in the mouth roast beef! Lovely Sunday roast dinner with red wine! Usually come here and do the set menu which never disappoints but decided to try the Sunday menu and so glad we did!"

"For the first time in about 5 months we've been able to eat out! We chose the |crown as it was en route home and had a large marquee and was serving food early in the evening. And we weren't disappointed. The menu is...quite small with lots of burgers and other meat dishes but there are veggie options. I chose the rack of Ribs which was huge (doggie bags ae provided and my wife had the veggie canneloni. Both dishes were superb. The locally sourced ribs were excellent and the chips were something else. I have had many chips in my time but these were as good as triple cooked in some Michelin starred establishment. Paul and sarah, the owners were really friendly and we know that we'll be back there soon."
