The food here was very good. We ordered many different dishes and shared. The wood oven pizza was fabulous, the spinach dip was one of the best we've ever had. The tomato sauce they use is very good. We also had a pesto pasta dish, which was a special, it was very good, but was a little over cooked. We would definitely eat here again if we ever find ourselves in Sudbury. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Di Gusto:
It's not authentic Italian or maybe it is but it misses the mark. Fun atmosphere. Not a place for a date on the weekend unless you like a lot of noise. Reasonably priced and food is not bad. Similar to east side marios in taste but locally owned and not prepackaged food. Kids would be great there as it's loud and you wouldn't be worried about them disturbing others. View all feedback.
Quaint place to have a quick bit and glass of wine. Service is friendly and efficient. Nice selecting of pasta and unique variety of pizza. Highly recommended for eat in and take out.
Main Couse Good Services was good Deserts we terrible over cook cheese cake dry. crème Brulee was like some chocolate pudding not good. Would not recommend getting desert from there. other than the deserts. it was Good.
The Lasagna was recommended by a friend. Was absolutely blown away. Far and away the best I’ve ever had. The starter Caesar was top notch as well. Great service. This is a #1 recommend for anyone in Sudbury. Wood fire pizza chef was training a new guy, was patient, polite and great mentor showing every trick to get consistent excellence. Nice to see
I used to love Di Gus to but my last two trips were not up to the usual standards. During the last trip I had the short rib ravioli. First try was stone cold and the second was so sweet that it was more like a dessert. Today I had a caesar salad. Beautiful pancetta but powdered parmesan cheese. What self respecting Italian restaurant serves that stuff? Not acceptable. And then my pasta came. More of this crappy cheese product. The linguine may have been homemade but very thick. Gordon Ramsay would not have been happy as there was no seasoning whatsoever. My partner had the pesto penne. Not great pesto with fake cheese. Suffice it to say, I could have made a better dinner at home.
6 of us ate dinner here. We were blown away by the quality of the food. The waitress told us that everything is made in house. We had bruschetta, pasta and pizza. This was some of the best Italian food we had every had. I would highly recommend eating here.
