"Zeal is about 15 minutes' drive from the center of Miyazaki, but it is worth the trip. The café is huge, with a garden, children's playground, reading area etc. The whole food is vegan and the small shop sells local organic vegetables and dried foods. The restaurant is no longer a buffet since the pandemic and there is no English menu. But the choice is simple: only one morning ¥880) and a lunch ¥1540), plus drinks and cakes. The food was tasty, but the café would be a great place to spend the whole afternoon, relax and let your children walk around."

"Not many vegan options in Miyazaki, and that was a welcome surprise! The food was delicious (especially the sticky chicken ' and quite expensive (adjusted meal about 1300 yen). Beautiful vegan desserts (I had chocolate and strawberry soyamilk ice cream! And organic wine was delicious! The staff was very friendly with English. Would definitely recommend!"
