Fantastic afternoon tea! My friend and I visited today for the festive afternoon tea. The setting was absolutely stunning and we couldn’t believe we saw some deer wondering anround the grounds, which just made it even more christmassy and magical. We paid a deposit for all family for a special 40th Birthday celebration. The booking had been cancelled and was told it was due to new management. Very poor afternoon tea, nothing homemade or scones etc. There were 6 children and 3 under 5 and was not catered for at all. When asked for a plain cheese sandwich, was given to slices of bread with packet cheese which was just cut in half and cheese fell out every where. read more.
