"Hotel prices but below average food and average service. Long waits even though half empty restaurant, TINY fish starter presented without lemon, no offer of bread or rolls, dry slice of bread with a soup, tiny open tart SMOTHERED in balsamic glaze so that was all I could taste! Frozen supermarket style chips!"

"Had the most excellent dinner here. Often struggle for really good food in the area, especially in a pub setting, but this was truly excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The menu is small but with a lovely selection of slightly different dishes all very carefully thought through and executed perfectly. I will absolutely be coming back. Price per person: £50–60"

"Delicious fish and chips! we couldn't decide where to go in suffolk to find decent fish and chips, but we are so glad we are here. it is hard to live on the kent coast near many good chippies. freshly fried, fantastic portions and very tasty fish (cod and squid.) not greasy in the smallest! highly recommended!"

"Delightful French tasty served in a cozy, clean and welcoming atmosphere. the bistro is not huge, but in contrast to many, the tables are well spaced and they do not end, cramped or in the wise. chips are hand cut and cooked to perfection, while the tartiflette is glorious creamy and they will want to finish every mouthful! if they are in framlingham or in the surrounding opposite, we have not found much more to do in the city itself, but the lemon tree was worth stopping."
