my wife and I visited the white horse twice during a last hiking week in suffolk while I was in a holiday home in the next village. not to consider from the outside, but warm and friendly inside, from the natives who are always a good sign and eating was excellent with both of us to give either or for all four meals. prices are competitive, but intentional. they charge a glass of white wine! Nice pub. Good beer. Friendly. We ate there twice. First time was fine. On second occasion, having booked three days in advance, we were given a table a few feet from the door (on a cold, windy evening). The steak and kidney pie was a good size and had good pasty, but little steak and even less kidney (three pieces, none much bigger than a grain of rice).
