Merels Diner Snack ' - Sugbongcogon

I stayed in a Standard room at this hotel. The pros include the incredibly friendly staff, a peaceful atmosphere perfect for recharging, a beautiful white sand beach with stunning views, adequate air conditioning and a small TV, as well as a hammock for relaxation. The food is tasty, but slightly expensive for the portion sizes. Some cons to consider are that the beach is located down a few steps, so be mindful when walking, and the internet is available but can be slow. The rooms are a bit outdated. Despite these drawbacks, I would absolutely return to this hotel.

We stayed at one of the ocean suites at a night. The view outside is beautiful, with the sea and the fine white sand. There was little to no signal, and so Internet was a challenge. There is a TV but no signal as well. There is hot and cold shower, with a comfortable CR. Water is abundant as well. For breakfast, the restaurant only offers some silog meals paired with either instant coffee or juice. Overall, it was a nice overnight place to stay in, and the white sand beach is really beautiful.

The overall experience was very satisfactory, with a wide property that made it feel like we were the only guests despite others being present. The only downside was that the beach was far downhill, requiring a lot of leg work to go back and forth from the accommodation, which may not be ideal for older guests.

The location is secluded and offers great ocean view suites. We arrived at night during a rainstorm, but the on-duty staff was accommodating. Unfortunately, the rain prevented us from trying any water sports, but the atmosphere was very relaxing. It is a great place to unwind and recharge.
