"A true revelation! So I would have to say that I was already in some self-announced restaurants. But this discovery today, with faith and all respect, at the end of the world, has not yet come to me. After the presentation of the raw meat, all drops were already in the mouth, but that was nothing to the result freshly served by the beech wood grill on the wooden board. Both the turkey steak and the pork fillets were grilled to the point, juicy and delicate, with the special tasteful compositions made of supplements and sauces. Bread potatoes neither dry nor floating in fat. I expected a bourgeois cuisine today, but got a taste experience of the special kind. This was absolutely not to be expected in this hidden place. Therefore another great “Chapeau” to the cook! 5 stars are not almost enough thanks."

"Ich war mit Freunden dort. Selten habe ich so schlecht gegessen. Der eine Teil des Essen war nicht gewürzt,dafür fettig und mit Zwiebeln und Kümmel übersät. Der andere Teil war total versalzen. Es wurde mir erklärt,dass ich vorher hätte sagen sollen dass nicht so sehr gewürzt werden soll. Schließlich sei das Lokal für seine deftige Küche bekannt. Tut mir leid,bis zu mir ist das nicht vorgedrungen. Aber nicht nur mir hat es nicht geschmeckt. Einige am Tisch waren auch unzufrieden.Im Hühnchengeschnetzeltem waren Unmengen an Zwiebeln und Pilze,mehr als Hühnchen. Auch hier wurde gesagt,dass man vorher hätte sagen sollen,dass man das Essen so nicht will. War nur aus der Karte nicht ersichtlich welche Zutaten,außer Hühnchen und Reis,noch dabei sind. Nunja,ich bin geheilt und werde dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen. Im Nachhinein haben mir mehrere Leute gesagt,dass auch sie negative Erlebnisse dort hatten. Hätten sie das mal lieber eher gesagt."

"Found the gastmahi of the sea by falling too foot round slur so went in, looks very nice very clean white table cloths etc. the smoked salmon to begin, was nice fresh horses and a roasted potato cake had the beerbatter dorsch, which. was well cooked. do not lose how to go back in the next days"

"Wir waren zum Weihnachtsessen da mit 8 Erwachsenen und 5 Kinder gewesen. Restaurant war klein. Wir haben zwar einen Extra Raum bekommen, aber es war schon sehr eng.Da gab Buffet. Vom Auswahl her sehr wenig und die Preisleistungsverhältnis sehr schlecht.Das Essen schmeckt na ja.. Ich denke meine Mutter kann es besser kochen. Der Ganz hat wie eine Gummi geschmeckt.Nachtisch gab nur kleine Obst Auswahl und ein Dessert, der man gar nicht erkennen konnte, was für Geschmack Richtung es hatte. Für das Buffet kostet Pro Person € 20,- excl. Getränk. Kinder unter 6 Jahre € 12,-Das ist schon eine Frechheit dass man noch mal dazu € 5,- verlangt weil ein Kind nur vom Obs "Buffet" was genommen hat (die paar scheiben Melone), dabei andere hatten noch nicht mal das Dessert/Nachtisch genommen.Also dahin würden wir auf keinen Fall hingehen!"

"We had chosen the restaurant "to the old post" because of the very good reviews and to take it forward: even we (4 people) were absolutely enthusiastic. the chefin was super attentive, fast and very warm. the food was freshly prepared, was absolutely delicious and plentiful; even our hungry men have become tired after the long walk and that wants to be something! we were very satisfied and can recommend the old post unrestricted. even at the cost there was nothing to mecker – ratio price / performance is absolutely right! in the januar we will be back in oberhof and look forward to eating delicious and cozy ambiente. probably we will eat the menu up and down :-). I don't think there's a better recommendation..."
