"What a wonderful spot! Rather than spend a day touring distilleries, hubby and I popped in to Society for whisky flights. We found tremendous service, knowledgeable staff, a cozy atmosphere, and an impressively extensive list (including half pours if you're in the mood to sample off the provided platters). We're only here for a week, but we'll be back in."

"First of all, I wanna say that this Japanese restaurant in Battery Point is the best Wanted to have some Japanese food, and man, who had known we could find some hidden gem We read the review before coming here (that said a Japanese friend of someone recommened this place . Off we went and we truly loved it. Food was amazing, not to forget about the hospitality from the staff. The restaurant itself was tiny but the decorations were very Japanese-styled (oh the neko/cat cushions were so cute aww . The top 3 food we would love to recommend: Squid Karaage, Sukiyaki, and Nasu Dengaku. (Black sesame ice cream was also . Best eat in Hobart!!! xx Definitely recommend this place. 10/10!!"

"The restaurant looks really beautiful from the outside. the service was very good in a busy night our waitress was friendly and efficient. eating was quite normal. my wife had an average fish and chips (not cheap,) while I had a seafood...pasta both mealtimes came within less than ten minutes after the order to table, which was surprisingly fast as the place was busy. My pasta court was hot, strange. I'm sure they can't use a microwave to get pre-cooked meal? but the effect was not appetizing."

"Upon entering this wonderful establishment, the smell was so devine I could barely wait to order my meal. Once I received my meal the makhan chicken, the presentation and aroma was incredible. The flavours this dish presented were some of the best I have ever experienced from any restaurant. Well done Tandoor and curry house and to your wonderful staff also. A huge thankyou from my family and myself."
