"Don't go there! a few years ago, my family and I would travel through sulphur quite often. we would all be happy to stop on golden chick. great food. great service. last night we went through sulphur and rejoiced to stop and eat at the g. c. alas, the golden kist should now be renamed into the dirt chick. nothing more gold about this place. we ordered the 2 pieces fish with 3 garnels and a 3 pieces chicken dinner. see photos. all for $25. the 2 fish pieces are smaller than the garnel and were usually broken, not fish. the chicken leg was more like a wing stump. they have to put up mini chickens here somewhere. I'm sorry to say golden chicken was removed from my list of the farms to visit."
