Great historic place to meet for the atmosphere of the beer garden in nice weather. Typical German food with great service by the owner and staff. They have several rooms to rent as well as a sit down restaurant. Reasonable prices in a great, but out of the way location.
Each year when we travel to Germany we try to make this our lunch stop. My husband is a lover of German Schnitzel and this place serves every kind there is. Salads are wonderful as well, the dressing is home made and I have yet to be able to figure out how to duplicate it :-) Karl Heinz (the proprietor) makes service a priority and you feel like you are being welcomed to the home of a friend.

Every year, when we travel to Germany, we try to make this lunch break. My husband is a lover of the German carving and this place serves any kind of thing there is. Salads are also wonderful, the dressing is made at home and I still have... to find out how to duplicate it: Karl Heinz (the owner makes the service priority and you feel like you are welcome to the home of a friend.
