"We visited this restaurant on a sunny Friday afternoon in early September. It sits on top of a hill with panoramic views of the fields hills surrounding it and the likes of Pilatus in the distance. The wrap around terrace on the front is in the shade and was cold by lunchtime. The restaurant was full from a coach party so we ate in the courtyard in the back. Which has NO view apart from one stammtisch style table which really defeats the purpose of making the trip. We had a voucher for Cordon bleu, salad and ice cream. The salad ice cream were fine. The cordon bleu was the worst we’ve eaten in Switzerland and we’ve eaten a lot. Dry over cooked meat, no cheese to ooze out and chips so old the dog couldn’t chew them. Absolutely nothing to redeem the place though we should say the service was polite.... This is a restaurant living in the past and milking its position on the landscape. Very disappointing!"
