I was pleasantly surprised w/ the food. I had fried shrimps and it was excellent!! Not greasy at all and the Hush puppies had a lot of taste. The staff was friendly, especially Connar, when we paid our bill, gave us recommendations for the next time. Plenty of food for your money. Villager, the Summerfield Sam's St John's. Great seafood! Prepared every time. Heavy working waiters. Apparently more than powerful kitchen staff. Fair prices and the best specialties. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Was not yet able to Ocala.
Summerfield. Some relatives from Michigan and they thought the shrimps were the best they ever had. We love going there at least 2 or 3 times a month.

Seafood at its worst. Haven't tried Sam St Johns in Summerfield but the one in Ocala is really bad the seafood is tasteless and like eating rubber service is bad, and the cashier Hostess as welll as the fat white male manager have a really bad attitude the men's room is always so filthy and smells like an old Greyhound bus station restroom that hasn't been cleaned in a long time makes you want to throw up
Satisfied customers. We have eaten Sam's in Summerfield often, with a large group of our friends for many years, and have never been disappointed. The food service are great. Our favorite is the seafood platter, especially the shrimp fish. Sam's is the only place where we really enjoy eating seafood in central Florida...especially with the reasonable prices.
