On a beautiful sunny weekend drive, we stopped into this Summerland location for the first time. We were greeted and served by some very friendly staff. I found this location to be very clean, and there was ample parking. It has easy access off of highway 97. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about DQ Grill & Chill:
Tried out this dq. Food came out in 3 minutes and was hot with no mixed up orders. Grilled chicken sandwich and some chicken strips. For fast food it was decent although that is not saying much. Factory farmed, processed food with a varying degree of chemicals. They get a three for being better then many other fast food joints. View all feedback.

This was the best service we have had in awhile. Loved the ice cream (who doesn't ?! and the service with a smile! Would go again for sure.

like the resistance of knowing what dairy queen has to offer. it is known to the children and they know what they like

"Amazing plant based restaurant!! Was a bit confusing to find, but from out of town, so maybe locals are more familiar w/the set up of the area. Interior of restaurant manages to be both refreshing relaxing w/color pops, twinkle lights, even the menu pages had a bamboo type texture. My aunt I visited while dealing w/a family emergency; food service were exemplary didn't realize we lucked into a walk in seating. We had the Aperol spritzer,strawberry-mint-lemonade w/vodka, tacos, queso dip, gigli mushroom pasta my personal love...soup of the day was a tomato bisque w/coconut curry drizzle, even got a second serving to go. Emotions effect appetite Frankie's was food I didn't have to force myself to eat (I salute you! Service was great w/full knowledge of food components, obvious enthusiasm for the restaurant, (loved that they were taste testing cookies when we came in . Our server, blanking on his name was great, attentive w/o hovering. Prices are more than fair for the product they offer there are happy hour deals. If I lived locally, this would be a my go-to spot!"

"I just moved in to this area and there's not many options for Chinese food and I saw it when I went to the post office next to it one day and tried their combo, I was surprised with the portion! It saved me another lunch the next day (If you do not like to have leftovers then don't order combo is you aren't going to share with anyone unless you are very hungry).The service was always pleasant and welcoming, I've tried a couple of other things on the menu, Shanghai thick noodles and beef black pepper with vegetables are two of my new favourite dishes.I saw the former comment about discounts, I think you get discount if the order is OVER 30 dollars and pick up with CASH (reminded by the lady works in the front that debit cards are not considered as cash) so maybe that was why. It was printed on the cover of the menu, I want to back J-Wok up and clarify for this negative feedback because I've seen customer got upset about the same thing one time when I was waiting for my food there and I felt sorry for the lady worked that day. Anyways, I've been here about 10 times and I'm pretty satisfied with the quality so far. If you pass by and feel like to have Chinese food, you should give it a try!"
