"I come from a Ukrainian/ Polish community and I have to say the pierogies and cabbage rolls made at the Polish Bistro are beyond compare. The pieriogies are light and melt in your mouth. They come with an assortment of flavours: our favourites were the dill and the spinach and feta. The service is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"The service varies between 3-5 stars, it is always good, but sometimes they go beyond and beyond. only a barista mentioned that they have 2 matcha powders and have a milk in it- we always thought that the matcha salad with milk would be safe, so it was nice to ask the extra time/care and then recommended sirup because it is not so sweet. the coconut substitute they use doesn't taste back. everything else is great, but they are kind. good place!"

"Well, we chose this place because of its 5-star reviews and ended up needing to do take out due to no seating space inside. We took a chance and ordered the 40 pc Happy Summer special, 4 miso soups, an ebi sunomono, an avocado roll and a spicy chopped scallop roll. It came to about $50 and we were told it would take 30 minutes. We came back to pick up and due to the monsoon-like rain, my sister dashed in to grab the food. When we got home (at the other end of town), we realized that there was no avocado roll included. As well, the contents of the 40 pc platter sounded fantastic but in reality left much to be desired. For example, the crunchy yam roll definitely was NOT crunchy at all! It was basically mashed yams wrapped in rice, great for my one year old nephew but not appetizing for us adults!! The dynamite roll was basically unrecognizable having nothing in it except a prawn tempura. The miso soup, however, was very nice! lol All in all, we were pretty disappointed and cannot recommend this place."
