Love this place! Affordable, yummy, nutritious food on a ski hill. Nothing could be better. And all day breakfast, because sometimes your day starts later:

"We held our closing family reunion dinner at the Voyageur Bistro after canoeing with the Northwest Voyageur Company in the afternoon. The flexibility and effort to make it possible for 90+ people of all ages to gather together at the restaurant was impressive. The staff was organized, efficient and friendly. Additional vegan/vegetarian requests were happily met even on the night of our event. For the young children, servers asked parents what would be best to bring to them, showing a great regard for guests of all ages. The portions were of a good size so that if there was something you didn't care for, you would still be satisfied, which was a minor problem for those of us who enjoyed and ate everything!I would love to have the recipe for the rib sauce; it was truly delicious and tasted like it had been simmered for hours. The salmon was a bit plain and perhaps cooked more than I like, but I know how hard it is to cook fish well for a small group, let alone have it ready to serve to 90 people. The soup, potatoes, vegetables and dessert were all spot on. Nothing over-done, nothing under seasoned. I think anything left on the plates was due to personal preferences or more likely to a full stomachWe were lucky to have a lovely clear evening so that people could move between the patio and the restaurant, but had it been raining, there was a plan in place to keep everyone dry. I was a little surprised that I liked having the nooks and crannies of the restaurant (as opposed to a big banquet room) for our dinner. Big rooms mean big noise and I am so glad I didn't have to shout over the sound system so the person next to me could hear!As the crowd dwindled, there was no pressure for us to leave. We truly had the run of the place!Thank you to Kevin Tessier and his staff for an amazing job!"

"This family-run cafe was our home away from home during our stay in Sun Peaks. Especially of note are the baked goods, which come out fresh during the day. They even home bake their sandwich breads. Their sweet cheese and jam turnover tastes just like what my Polish grandmother used to bake. The Kolbasa sandwich is another must try. They also have healthy smoothies and vegetarian options."
