I hosted my son's first birthday party here over the weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. Even though it was a last-minute decision, the staff was incredibly accommodating, welcoming both adults and children with less than two hours' notice. What User doesn't like about Mcdougall Playhouse Cafe:
The thing that lets this place down is the staff. They are strict and rude. At every other play centre I've been to as a parent you are allowed on the equipment to supervise. Not here. Also it's hard to explain to a toddler why they cannot go on something due to this reason. There is a surcharge for everything paid on eftpos. I understand surcharges but on every single purchase.
