Came for their special black truffle from Italy menu. The truffle cacio e pepe pizza was delicious, the ravioli was good. The octopus was tender in the appetizer salad. What PegM doesn't like about Doppio Zero Concord Veranda:
I was disappointed in our first dining experience at Doppio Zero. I was expecting more from a Michelin restaurant. My husband's raviolis were delicious. My gnocchi was lukewarm and ok not great. The problem I had was we ordered and within 5 minutes had our food. That's great for fast food but not sit down. Were not asked about drinks, and barely had our drinks before dinner arrived. We just discovered this resturant. Has become one of our new favorites. The food has the unique freshness and flavors of Italy. If you are looking for a new experience, you have found an option!!
Our first time to Doppio Zero we will definitely be back. Everything we ate was delicious, including the homemade pasta! The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas which added a great cozy, family touch.
The food was amazing, the service was top notch. Out server made recommendations and answered all of our questions. We even had one of the chefs come to our table and chat with us a bit. It's a family friendly place and a nice respite from the busyness of the shopping center
We used to love this location of Doppio because it had a real family vibe, food was great and price was reasonable. Between our visit in August and now, something had changed looks like the management has. No longer see the old staff, service has lost the family vibe and was very transactional and stiff. Menu changed and our old favorites such as shishito peppers and soups no longer there. Finally Price has gone up significantly. For the same food and wine we saw a $75 100 increase
Fantastic Italian restaurant in a convenient locations! Went with the a group with ages ranging from kids to teens to adults and everyone had something they liked. A bit pricey but absolutely delicious!!Kid-friendliness: Margarita is amazing and perfect for kids (or picky adults!!
