"Tucked away in the middle of nowhere a restaurant of exquisite food. One of the best meals I have eaten in ages in France. I ate snails in individual little pots with pastry lids followed by a whole magret of duck, done to perfection, with a timbal of diced and shredded vegetables. My husband had peppers stuffed with a tartare of magret duck followed by cod on a bed of ratatouille. Exquisite flavours quaffed with a delicious local white wine. Service was friendly and helpful. Absolutely worth a detour if you are anywhere between La Rochelle and Poitiers!"
