What Greg D doesn't like about Komachi Japanese:
I used to come here with my colleagues at least once a week for lunch. After a bit of experimentation I settled on a favourite, the Beef Sukiyaki Udon which I would have religiously as it was very tasty. The rest of the items on the menu I felt were pretty average. I stopped visiting this restaurant as, for a lunchtime meal, it was a bit expensive for me. Also sometimes the beef would taste pretty bland which would t... View all feedback. What infoworks likes about Komachi Japanese:
We booked for dinner on a Saturday night, which is always advisable for this busy restaurant. The options are $75 for 2 courses, $85 for 3. Service was generally attentive, informative and quick. The decor is OK, and the noise levels were reasonably quiet. Quality of food is good and we enjoyed our choices. If you are in the Leura or Blue Mountains area, I recommend this as a higher-end experience. View all feedback.

read moreKomachi is a cozy restaurant that offers a variety of Japanese dishes for lunch and dinner. While some customers feel that the prices are a bit high for lunch, the food is generally tasty. The ramen and udon dishes are popular choices, with some customers raving about the Beef Sukiyaki Udon and the pork ramen. However, there are mixed reviews about the gyoza and other side dishes. The decor could use a refresh, with some finding the window display of oversized ramen bowls off-putting. Overall, Komachi is a good option for a quick and satisfying meal, especially if you are a ramen lover.
