What User doesn't like about The White Horse:
The fact that this place was virtually empty on a perfect sunday afternoon was telling. Great space including rooftop bar. However, food is lazy and not up to scratch unless you're completely drunk and will eat anything.A very confusing menu - choosing a protein, salad, sauce belongs in a cheap Thai takeaway, not a pub that then charges you $30.An uninspiring small plate menu 'collapsed cauliflower' for example.I ret... Friends enjoyed drinks and lunch at The Horse (formerly The White Horse) in Surry Hills on our way to a Rugby test today. A fabulous Royal With Cheese hamburger and fries was amazing, washed down with a glass of Pino Grigio for me and a beer for my man. Helpful staff, a good atmosphere, prompt service made for a very good afternoon. However, on return after the game, the place was packed to the rafters. View all feedback.
