sincere judging the quality of food these days in the face of no greenpass control passes everything in the second floor. No control whatsoever to us or to all other adventurous. I don't know if it was a bad night, but I'm sure you're not kidding. Definitely artisanal, local and high-quality ingredients. We were the only customers, probably the whole night. Friendly, extra attention with complimentary after-dinner drinks and a bit shaved off the bill. Nice hilltop location among the vineyards, but the upkeep is not as nice as in the photos. Recommended for the food and attention, but could be better for its price.
Friends took me to Mazariol for dinner. Located in Susegana, Treviso, Italy it's definitely off the beaten path. And that means locals with high expectations of great food. Because no one has higher expectations than the Italians when it comes to food. And la casa del Mazariol doesn't disappoint. The food is great and even better is the warmth and friendliness of the family that run the restaurant. If you are in the Treviso area, then it's worth googling mapping this gem.
I've been here a couple of time and everyone has been very friendly and even took the tie to translate the menu from Italian to English after spilling it out to my fiancée and her family in the native Italian tongue. Its cozy and the food portions were larger than I was ready for! Everything was cooked very well and the presentation was lovely. I hope you don't forget to mention this little restaurant is conjoined with a museum and an old farming house all tourable with a guide (which is easily affordable and nice to browse around after a large meal! Assuming you can tear your eyes away from the scenic outlook.
