What can I say. The clue is in the title, it's a pie and mash shop, and it fulfills all those promises and expectations. Pie, mash, liquor and eels are all good. Chilli vinegar is on the tables, just as it should be. Friendly staff, traditional decor, tasty, belly filling food. It's just as a Pie and Mash shop should be. And it's a good one too. read more.

This was my first visit, 2 of us travelled up from Brighton and Crawley. Excellent pie and mash and eels. Had 2 pies, mash and eels. Was so good I went back for...

Old world looking place. Excellent food. Friendly and chatty owner. Good for a quick meal when in a hurry. Will use this venue again.
