I just walked past this place and arrived for a fast meal. I had an excellent chicken panak and paratha. nice eating, good value, the restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated and the staff was helpful and attentive. everything they can ask in a local restaurant. that will be my new place and take away, as my old one is closed. He's been there for over 20 years. always a good sign. read more.

In pleasant weather you can even eat and drink in the outdoor area.

What sophliot doesn't like about India Cottage:
6:50 ordered a takeaway to be delivered, at 8:00 nothing so tried to ring to see what the delay was. Phone off the hook for 30 mins so had to drive to the restaurant only to be told they had lost my order. Absolute shambles, if they can’t work online orders then stop offering. Another guy also waiting with the same problem. Decided to cancel the order and go elsewhere. Won’t be back read more.
