What Simon A likes about The Sun:
We have eaten here before and the food was excellent although a tad pricey. On this occasion went for a late Sunday roast lunch which was ok but not brilliant. Luke warm veg and tough stringy lamb. VERY small portions of the trio of meats. I would recommend the Greyhound and particularly the Duke's head for a far better Sunday roast. That said the pub is friendly and the staff excellent. While the food was tasty, the portions won't fill you up if you're really hungry. The food was well presented but the small veg portions looked like they were just there as a garnish, to add colour to the plate. read more.
