"Wonderful hotel with a fantastic location. Rooms were lovely, hotel beautifully decorated, attentive staff and not to forget a really great breakfast! We had been looking forward to eating in the restaurant, but left very dissapointed. Price and quality just didn’t come together. Food wasn’t well-composed (textures and flavors) and for approx. 550DKK for 3 courses, we would have expected more. Sadly, the restaurant will not be a first choice next time we visit Melsted."

"We are Australian and visited this restaurant with Danish friends. It was the worst dining experience of our lives, avoid at all costs!!! The waiter/owner? Was abrupt and rude and the food awful. Our Danish friends on complaining about dried up meat had their plates snatched from them with a declaration ‘you can get something from the buffet instead’ This was declined as the buffet food looked awful. On suggesting to the waiter/owner this was not the way to treat guests he exploded telling us al to F... Off from his restaurant and that he didn’t want our money. Maybe he was having a bad day but no excuse. Eat here at your peril. John (Australia)"

"On a bike tour, it has accidentally stopped. I always say the pleasure whatever. About 12 varieties to choose from. I was coffee baileys, Jordbær vanilla and almond salt. A dream! Aromatic, creamy. From now on, it's a solid program when I visit my son several times a year."

"Good fries with cheeses. The burger was ok but for the somewhat sauced side. Expected significantly more taste in a burger at 175kr, which is best price. The atmosphere is nice but it is that dry tables are shown something you do not do so often."

"A marvelous little cafe. Expect honest meals with a blend of Nexø. A very unique location where you can have seating right next to the harbor. Expect prices I'm the high but reasonable range. Taste is a solid 5"
