Stopped in here in June for the first time, and ate breakfast with my wife. Excellent food and it feels, looks, tastes, smells like a home cooked meal by your grandmother. Wonderful staff and clean restaurant. I'm not the usual customer that looks at price first. I like experience, atmosphere, and quality of the food more. What Woody doesn't like about Country Kitchen In Surgo:
Do not get anything to eat that has hush puppies on the side. I got the fish dinner and when food came out the shrimp wasnt even warm. The hush puppies were so hard. You couldn’t crack them with a base ball bat. We told them. No apologies. They said they are left over from fridays fish fry and they heat them up. We went there on a Wednesday.
