Wow! Stunning. Ypres has had a makeover and I love it. Went here for drinks last Saturday night and it was brilliant. Staff are friendly and welcoming, atmosphere was great and everyone had a brilliant evening. Drinks are usual prices, cocktails look amazing...although I didn't try one (gives me a reason to return). What Carlie Price doesn't like about Ypres Tavern:
I can only suppose that they suffer from the competition posed by the large Spoons across the road. On the night we visited, the tumbleweeds were blowing through the bar and the two locals sat at the bar had clearly been doing their best to keep the pub profitable . Beer is well kept and the barman was friendly but by the time we came out of the Spoons (traitors that we were) about 9.30 , this place appeared closed.... View all feedback.
