good quality fast service specials board this kitchen works efficiently and the service is acceptable however the furnishings fittings for the dining area need to be update quickly need a supervisor person to control kids and noisy groups we will go back View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Commercial Hotel:
We did drop in ,even thou they had a $5.00 schooner special on place was empty ,we didn't like the look of this hotel at all ,so didn't try the food ,had one drink and left View all feedback.
The employees were friendly and helpful, even though they obviously train new employees. the meals quickly came out how busy they were. reasonable price and a good size meal. we would definitely see each other again.
We ordered our meal together with a 20 minutes before the other 4. it was obviously a meal Prd-cooked / or they blew the commands, but who was the leader of the pass, miss their task. the quality of the meal. worse than previous visits. the spaghetti was reminded that from a dose the sauce was far from delicious. the other main meal times were predominated by over 2/3 of the plate with chips and a poor selection of vegien. a very disappointing evening!
What a shock of a menu! no gf option, unless they eat fish on the menu. a heavy should be easy to make and throw on a steak. no maic on a Friday night at 1730 o'clock! we ran out! water or abi. the food we ate was nice and the children's dishes came with activity packages and ice.
Eating is typical aussie pub eating. the portions are very large. we share the chicken parma. it was delicious. it is very busy to have a reservation.
The staff at the Commercial Hotel need to be mindful of taking patrons drinks. Twice in one night i had a staff member grab my drink and walk off with it. I've travelled all over Australia and visited many Hotels and this is the only...Hotel where this has occured. Very hard for one to relax and enjoy themselves at the Commercial Hotel in Swan Hill Victoria when constantly worried that staff are going to pounce on your drink. Management need to speak to their staff to educate them on proper service. The cleanliness or lack of is another issue of this Hotel. The mens toilets were absolutely disgusting with vomit and an overflowing toilet that in turn flooded the tiled floor making in extremely dangerous for patrons. In the 5 hours i was there not once did a staff member attempt to clean them or at least make the area safe. By far the worst Hotel in Australia that i have ever visited not only for the filth i encountered but also the rudeness of staff. Absolutely appalling.
