"Amazing little Cafe in Northbridge/ Mount Lawley area. It looks hidden from the road but worth going in. Truffle and Parmesan Scrambled Eggs with a Matcha Coffee. Fresh salad, good strong flavours. Great staff, fast service. I said I only had 30 mins and could I have it without bread, they smiled and accommodated it. A hidden find."

"We dined on Valentine's day. The food was fantastic. We had pizza and grilled squid. The best squid dish ive ever eaten. The desert was to die for. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The food came out very quickly. A fully switched on restaurant. I recommend highly. Give them 5 stars. Brilliant hospitality"

"We have a little dinner with friends after our high season. we had the set menu that has a really good choice of options. the service is amazing with the staff always close to the hand, including the owners who made the experience extra special. the magnificent view of the river and the nearby park make it a romantic cozy dinner. the pastas were all exceptionally full of taste, even for me the tinted fish color. thanks for making our evening special."

"Finding a sushi place with many vegan options can be quite hard, but this place really satisfied my partner and I's sushi cravings! Honestly, some of the best sushi I've ever had! At first we ordered two sets of sushi and it was so good, but after finishing them we were craving more so we ordered another 2 sets! The next time I find myself in Mt. Lawley, I'm definitely hitting this place up again!"

"The First Edition Cafe is on the ground level of the State Library of Western Australia (SLWA). If you are doing some serious study, a good strong cup of coffee can help clear out the cobwebs. The coffee is well made, and you can also...get some tasty light meals. The SLWA would be a less tolerable place without the First Edition. Every serious State Library deserves a good coffee shop."
