"Cha-ty is run by a Japanese owner and the food is very authentic. It has a warm and relaxing atmosphere plus a large selection of teas and coffee. I highly recommend this place. "Disappointing visit to this quiet cafe . I put our breakfast order in and after 15 mins , just before my husband breakfast arrived a waitress came over to say they were out of avocado. Why did it take that long to look in the fridge ! Anyway i had to quickly think of something else as they'd brought out my husband breakfast. (Which had snotty eggs and unpleasant beans) So I had an poached egg instead of Avocado. Would have liked to have been warned sooner to have more time to decide. They did not offer a refund as there was a difference in the price . I didn't say anything as wanted to see if the waitress would rectify. But they didn't. Staff very downcast and not that cheerful. Atmosphere flat. Used to like going to Cariad under the previous owners . Shame . This area is missing a decent cafe."

"Had a wonderful lunch in this little gem of a restaurant in sketty. the 3 course set menu for £18.95 was super! light and crispy fish goujons to begin, followed by pigs bauch on kartoffelmashed, surrounded by the most delicious sauce with a square of pork knistert and with a generous slice of kaviare cheesecake. we took our own bottle prosecco and the waitress brought to flee and a frozen sleeve to keep it cold! great service very relaxing very recommended x"
