The pub itself is good except any real ale for sale. The Sunday carvery run by someone else in the premises was not the best. Not much selection and empty potato section. When I asked can it be topped up the chef insisted on placing it himself on my plate. I thought a carvery is help yourself. Not a tight budget. Also the gravy was a bit like water read more.
