There are not that many options in this small town The wallaby sausage was good but the gluten free gravy was not good (but then again, I think

"A great way to celebrate the completion of a hike in Freycinet National Park, is with some local seafood in a fisherman's basket, washed down with a cold drink and topped off with a delicious ice cream. All with amazing views of The Hazards."

"I know this is on the expensive side, however it is worth the money. The experience starts as soon as you drive your car in to the Saffire. Staff met us with the buggy, took our car keys and took care of the luggage. We didn’t even need to open the car boot! Firstly, it includes breakfast lunch and dinner. All quality fine dining food with matching wines. The service from staff is impeccable and they all do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. The experiences are including in the price. The highlight was the oyster tour. This is exclusive to Saffire whereby guest have freshly shucked oysters on the bay. The bee hive tour was also great, rob is the biggest bee nerd who runs wild hives. At the very end we tried all the honey with a cheese board. Tasmanian devil tour was great too I learnt A lot about the devils. The room was very spacious and comfortable. You can also walk to the beach from the resort, about a 5 10min walk. Everything was fantastic ! The wines were all quality wines!"

"This is a lovely tea room tucked away on a side street overlooking the bay. Great views from the veranda. Homemade scones with jam and cream. We had the date scones. Coffee machine was broken so I had the plunger not the same but still pleasant and I managed two cups out of it. Very relaxing listening to the waves and having a treat. Service: Dine in"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our oyster tour at Melshell Oyster Shack. The lovely Cass talked us through the harvesting process, and the price of the tour also included a drink of your choice and a half dozen oysters. We were also shown the best way to shuck an oyster and even had a go at shucking one ourselves! Highly recommend it. There was a fire at Dolphin Sands the day we originally had booked in, so a big thanks to Cass for rescheduling and fitting us in the following day at a time that suited us. It was also great news to hear that everyone at Dolphin Sands is now safe. Thank you!"
