A random call at the Westbourne Hotel proved delightful. The pub has just reopened from a bit of an upgrade plenty more upgrade to go (and required), but the food menu is new. Great appetisers that were really delicious. Going back for a Sunday lunch soon. Recommended for good service and good food. read more.

Arrived for Sunday lunch, we queued at the bar to be seated, when ordering drinks we were asked very frankly “what dinner you having”, politely said we had not been seated nor had we seen a menu. Not the best welcome. When we did order our Sunday lunch it was fine, for what you pay for you can’t go wrong, however the beef was tough and it was swimming in gravy.
