"We are regular visitors to the Gwaelod but I felt that after our exceptional Sunday lunch yesterday I had to write a review. Even though the pub and restaurant was full because it was the last Sunday before Christmas the food was first class. The roast potatoes are something else. Myself and my son are gluten intolerant and the staff always cater for us with gf gravy. At other times they have home made gf chips too. I had pork and two of my family had beef and one had ‘ I want it all’ which includes all the meats. The portions are big and the vegetables are plentiful, fresh and quality. Most of the desserts are home made and yummy However the cherry and white chocolate roulade was incredible . I couldn’t stop eating it. Thank you Rob and Sam and all the wonderful staff. Keep doing what you’re doing. See you soon"

"Great little takeaway in Bridgend. Quick delivery service and I 've never had issue with the quality of the food. My favourite being the spicy wings. Southern Fried chicken is also very well made. Pizzas are much like rivals Dominos in many ways, the dough is pretty much the same as is the sauce but its cheaper and gets to you faster. Only issue I have is the 10% discount code they hand out which doesn 't give 10% more like 5%. This needs to be fixed."

"I opted for a delivery tonight to save getting kids ready etc. Food was 20 mins late and stone cold. Would not recommend this to anyone and will never even contemplate ordering here again. Omelet it is and perhaps I should have saved my cash and done that in the first place."

"Decent Indian, lovely food, generally good service although you can find you order before other tables but get food later than them. Nice atmosphere. For those a little cautious over covid the restaurant could do with opening windows or doors regularly but didn't bother us. Recommended"

"Placed my order last night 9.24pm, guy was impatient on the phone, said be with you soon. Order arrived at 10.57pm after 4 further phone calls the the store. Was warmish. Asked for discount but said couldn’t reduce it. I ordered a small donner meat on chips with lettuce cucumber, garlic sauce and bbq sauce. It arrived with lettuce (5/6 little slithers) about 3 pieces of cucumber and smothered in chilli sauce. I couldn’t even eat it it was too spicy for me. On my final phone call I lost my temper and shouted and only then did I get an apology. Over an hour and a half I waited for my food. Safe to say I won’t be using them again."

"Have been a frequent regular to the Plough and Harrow for years prior to lockdown and thought we would return to try the Sunday roast. Atmosphere was not very welcoming, staff seemed stressed and it has lost its relaxed vibe. Food arrived quickly. Beef and beef gravy was delicious and tender, the rest was a disappointment. The vegetables were obviously frozen and very under cooked, the cauliflower cheese was just a bland cheese sauce and there was sweetcorn, which is not a veg I would put with a roast. The Yorkshire pudding was hard and had been hanging around and the roast potatoes were reheated. It did not arrive hot, more luke warm. For £18 I would expect to be exceptional. We paid and left quickly. Sadly we won’t be returning."

"We had a delivery yesterday me and my partner. I have a wrap meal and he had a regular kebab. we also had side such as cheesy garlic bread, garlic mushrooms and a few nibbles. can honestly say it was one of the nicest takeaways I have had in a while from a kebab shop xxx"
