"We didn't eat here. The rating is purely based on the friendly owners giving info on the hike telephonically and again when we stopped by to ask about the start of a hiking trail. We wanted to have a late lunch there after the hike, but unfortunately roadworks were building a new curb in front of the restaurant. We couldn't go into the restaurant parking area and not park safely nearby."

"Great Vibe. Staff are friendly, and the food is DELICIOUS. Absolutely the best pizza you'll eat. Lasagna is also incredible. I asked for quite a complicated build your own pizza and it was PERFECT and delicious. Will visit again when in Swellendam."

"Best restaurant I've been to in a long time. They have a good concept, ostridge themed with ostridge meat and ostridge deco, and they have an amazing cook and great service. The wine selection is also very nice. The building is also very nice, a historical mansion with beautiful carpentry and old windows. Also I like chefs who know how to make good sauces, and these guys know how to make good sauces (I recommend the garlic and mushroom one, so tasty!"
