my daughter moved on Saturday after a very hectic day to the village we decided to visit the village pub the chequers, what can I say, the renter came by to say hello and offer to help with all local information that in the next weeks so a great greeting on the following day we needed lunch great quality and some taste village great food I come to View all feedback.

Very quiet on weekday lunchtimes but chose venue due to where people were travelling from. fairly extensive menu,good for lunchtime. Landlord always polite and hospitable. My friend asked for a mint tea but they do not do flavoured teas so had hot water instead which she was happy with. View all feedback.

A little hectic when we first in, but when we broke up our table things and the food was nice and good value. Would go back.

Good standard Pub fare. Cosy county Pub in a quaint village. Service was good, friendly and efficient.
