We booked on Groupon for a steak dinner for 2 , we are always a bit apprehensive as to what it will be like due the price of the deal, when we do this. But we were really impressed with the melt in your mouth steak, the crunchy onion rings and tasty chips, washed down with a reasonable red wine all included in the price, will definitely be back, in fact we re booked on our way home. Excellent steak meal which we all enjoyed. However the Eaton mess that we had was not that. It was just chopped strawberries, cream with a little meringue.

"Coldish saturday afternoon in December. Every pub and bar in town was packed to overflowing, but this small pub, (micro pub really) sandwiched between two other pubs was quieter with spare seating. Started with a local brew, sat outside and conversed congenially with a local. Went inside for second drink. Fancied something different and asked if a wheat beer was available. The lady said no. A gent at the bar said they had Leffe if I wanted Belgian and pointed to a bottle on the shelf. Next to it I noticed a bottle of Blue Moon . I suggested this was in a wheat beer, but she was adamant it was not it was a white beer. I insisted and she inspected it and then agreed it was indeed wheat. She did apologise, but I was disappointed I had to tell her about her job. The beer was enjoyable. Did not eat, but looking at the blackboard I would say it was more light snacks than proper meals but prices looked ok."
