I was on hunting after a typical pub with a kamin to sit in front with a glass wee and a good food, so I decided to check 3 weeds. that's one.
3 weeds was described to me as a "solid Australian institution" under the radar, but where many great hospitality people have spent their early days.

My expectation for good restaurant would entails good food, lovely atmosphere, and thoughtful service. This Farmhouse is a very small restaurant, with only one long table available for everyone to share. Not much privacy. Jazz and candle helped with the atmosphere. <br>

At booking, I was told there will be candle prepared for birthday man. Not only they completely forgot, but when I mentioned to them in the end, no signs of genuine sorry was seen, it was a "oh I am sorry, it is $144 please". Terrible service. <br>

Entry was really lovely, main course was large, tasted ok, lots of fish bone, small but still quite unpleasant, and dessert was creative, can't say it was good.<br>

Overall, will never come back here for another celebration or anything."

"The milk bun with bacon and egg was incredible. The bun was so light it was really just a vector for ingesting yummy bacon and egg and the mayo had a nice heat and just added to the whole experience. Coffee was delicious. I love the way they used the wall opposite in the alleyway for street art and then repeated the motif on the pillar inside the bar area."

"My son had been to The Malaya before and loved it so much that he booked it for Mothers Day so my husband myself and our son went and had the set menu for lunch. The food was absolutely superb atmosphere good and the service was excellent. I can tell you we have become very fussy as we have aged. I keep telling my husband that he has become a grumpy old man. But must admit we have both become quite disillusioned with eating out. We are now retired and frequently go out to eat as a weekly outing and have become constantly disappointed with not only the food but the poor service in so many Restaurants these days. So thank you so much and really appreciated the special touch of getting a box of excellent chocolates for Mothers Day at the end of the meal. We will definitely return."
